ClinicalEvidence

Export clinical trial data, answers and citations in the format you need

Take your evidence where the work happens: spreadsheets for analysis, documents for slide decks and dossiers, and reference files for your reference manager. Every export keeps the NCT numbers and PMIDs behind each value.

Printed table checked against a registry record

What you can export

Each answer, trial table and comparison in ClinicalEvidence can leave the workspace as a file. The source identifiers travel with the data, so a colleague, a reviewer or a client can trace any value back to its registry record or paper.

FormatWhat it containsTypical use
CSVThe trial table with every column and the filters appliedAnalysis, internal databases, landscape tracking
XLSXThe trial table and comparison tables, formatted for spreadsheetsFeasibility workbooks, team reviews

How export works

  1. Open an answer, a clinical trial table or a comparison of interventions and choose the format. The export reflects exactly what you see, with your filters and sorting. Document exports keep the sentence level citations of the answer and add a numbered reference list with identifiers and links. Reference files contain one entry per cited trial or publication, ready to import into the library where you collect sources for a review or a manuscript.

  2. Exports do not count toward your cited answers. You can export the same answer as many times as you need within your plan's formats.

Exports that keep the audit trail

An exported file is often read by someone who never saw the original answer: a reviewer in medical, legal and regulatory review, a client, a co-author or a payer. That is why every export carries the trail of sources with it.

  • Each row of a table export includes the identifier and a link to the source record
  • Document exports keep the citations on every sentence and add the numbered reference list
  • The filters and the date of the export are written into the file, so the reader knows what the data covers
  • The level of evidence for each cited source is included in evidence summary exports

When the landscape changes, run the question again or follow it with an alert, then export a fresh version.

Who exports clinical trial data

  • Researchers moving scoping results into a reference manager before a systematic review, see AI literature review.
  • CRO and feasibility teams building workbooks with phase, enrolment, country and status for each competing trial.
  • Medical affairs teams pasting cited summaries into medical information replies with the reference list attached.
  • HEOR and regulatory consultants preparing comparison tables for dossiers and client reports.
  • Clinical development leads sharing landscape tables in team reviews.

Questions about exporting clinical trial data

Do exports keep the citations?

Yes. Every exported value and sentence keeps its NCT number or PMID, and document exports add a numbered reference list with links to the source records.

Which reference managers can I use?

Any reference manager that imports RIS or BibTeX files. Both formats are included in every plan.

Do exports count toward my cited answers?

No. Exporting an answer, a table or a comparison you already have does not use cited answers.
